- THE NATURE OF SERVICE
GetRapidShield is a technology platform connecting users with elite security, medical, and logistical professionals. By using this app, you acknowledge that Rapid Emergency System operates a Central Command Center that coordinates response efforts through a vetted network of third party partners.
- SECURITY ESCORT SERVICES
- Booking Requirements: Standard escort requests require 48–72 hours notice. Emergency requests (less than 12 hours) are subject to a 25% premium surcharge.
- Specific Terms: Detailed operational rules, including specific timing and duty cycle thresholds, will be provided and agreed upon within the Mission Quote provided at the time of booking.
- Operational Control: The Command Center reserves the right to modify or decline routes based on real time tactical risk assessments.
- MEDICAL AMBULANCE SERVICES
- Introductory Offer: Rapid Emergency System facilitates the dispatch of the nearest available ambulance. We are not a medical provider; clinical liability rests solely with the dispatched medical facility/provider. To ensure the safety of our community, the first usage of the ambulance dispatch service via the App is provided at no cost (Free) to the user.
- Subsequent Usage: Every subsequent ambulance request following the initial free usage is billed at a flat rate of NGN 50,000 per dispatch within the provider’s local jurisdiction.
- Routing: In “Life or Limb” emergencies, the Command Center or the medical team reserves the right to route the patient to the nearest capable facility to ensure survival, regardless of user preference.
- Consent: By requesting an ambulance, you grant the medical team permission to perform necessary stabilization and first-aid protocols during transit.
- EMERGENCY SOS (ABDUCTION & KIDNAPPING)
- The SOS Trigger: In the event of a suspected kidnapping or abduction, the SOS function activates silent tracking and notifies the Command Center and designated emergency contacts.
- Response Coordination: The Platform will immediately coordinate with the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) and other relevant state or private security agencies under our network.
- No Guarantee of Outcome: While we utilize elite tracking and response protocols, the Platform does not guarantee a specific outcome (e.g., successful extraction) and is not liable for actions taken by abductors or third party state actors.
- Success Fees: In the event of a successful rescue, the user or their family/organization agrees to pay Administrative & Logistical Charges. These charges are used to reimburse the operational expenses of all agencies (State and Private) involved in the recovery and rescue operation.
- False Alarms: Intentional misuse of the SOS button for non emergencies is strictly prohibited. Verified “Prank” or “Test” triggers without prior authorization will result in a False Alarm Fine of NGN100,000 and account suspension.
- TOWING AND RECOVERY SERVICES
- Price Transparency: Upon a towing request, the assigned recovery partner will provide a price for the mission.
- User Choice: If the price provided by the partner is not favorable to the user, the user has the right to decline and request that the Command Center source an alternative partner for a new quote.
- FINANCIAL TERMS
- Service Pricing: All fees for services (outside of the first free ambulance usage) are displayed in the App or communicated via a Tactical Quote.
- Variable Factors: Prices for fleet and logistics are subject to change based on current fuel market rates and regional risk levels at the time of the request.
- Payment Integrity: All payments must be processed via the App or authorized RES payment channels to ensure mission tracking and security coverage.
- PRIVACY & TRACKING
To provide the “Shield” experience, the App requires “Always On” GPS permissions during active missions. Data is stored securely in compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA).
